DescriptionDesigned by Vashon Island architect Deborah Reilly of dr Design Studio, Featherhill blends traditional Northwest architecture with modern building performance. Situated on a hillside property, the home's south-facing orientation was carefully planned to maximize solar energy production while taking advantage of the surrounding landscape. McIntyre Construction worked closely with the design team to deliver a custom home that combines sustainable building practices, quality craftsmanship, and thoughtful detailing throughout. From the SIP panel construction and solar energy system to the custom bamboo cabinetry and post-and-beam elements, every feature was selected to support long-term performance and comfort. |
